Childrens Workshops

In these two types of fun and informal workshops you will learn how to make fine silver jewellery using metal (silver) clay, and are suitable for beginners and children from 8 years. As well as having all this fun and being creative, you get to take home the piece(s) you make i.e., pendant, charm, or earrings (depending on the sizes made and workshop type).

1. Appetiser Workshop – Adults and children from 11 years old

During this workshop you will learn fundamental techniques of how to roll out the clay to a consistent thickness, add textures, how to cut, dry and smooth the clay, and once fired how to give it that beautiful shine. Easy peasy!

2. Children’s Jewellery Making Worksop – From 8 years old (with a responsible adult)

During this workshop you get the opportunity to make a fun piece of jewellery including a  pendant or keyring charms. You will select a pre-made shape for a pendant or charm i.e. circle, daisy, unicorn, star, bumble bee or heart and learn how to attach a sparkly cubic zirconia to the front of a pendant and add charms to your keyring.
